Depth Filtration
Depth filtration or clarification is used to reduce impurities and particles such as cells, cell debris and large aggregates in the cell culture harvest which will be used for downstream purification processes.
Masterfilter LCMZ series of depth filter are composed of high purity cellulose and inorganic filter aid as single or double-layer version. The LCMK series are made of high-purity cross-weaved lignocellulose with activated carbon powder.
LCMZ Lenticular Modules - High purity cellulose and inorganic filter aid

The Masterfilter LCMZ lenticular filter modules are composed of high purity lignocellulose and inorganic filter aid agent. The inner three-dimensional structure allows it to be a depth filter medium while providing excellent filtration efficiency, high dirt holding capacity and longer life. Due to the small amount of synthetic resin in the filter paper which can not only improve the wet strength, but also provides a positive charge to ensure the adsorb efficiency
LCMK Lenticular Modules - High purity cellulose with activated carbon powder

The Masterfilter LCMK lenticular filter modules are made of high-purity cross-weaved lignocellulose and activated carbon powder. The internal porous three-dimensional structure with large internal surface area delivers excellent filtration performance and high dirt holding capacity for depth filtration applications.
LCFG Lenticular Module Housings

The Masterfilter LCFG enclosed filter housings consisting of a bottom part with three legs and a detachable housing dome. The bottom part with the inlet and outlet socket contains the centering and mounting unit for holding the lenticular filter with a flat adapter or double O-ring adapter type.
The connection between the flat bottom part and the housing dome is designed through a quick closure device like V-band clamp or Rathermann clamp. The module filter housings are available in different sizes and designs.
